There’s one important step you shouldn’t skip: bedding your brakes properly. Bedding brakes with these 3 simple steps.

Step 1: fit new brake pads (+ skim or replace discs)

Step 2: gradually build up heat with controlled braking

Step 3: do around eight to ten gentle stops

Step 4: enjoy the results, this sounds simple but the importance gets missed.

Important note: Give the brakes time to cool between each set and avoid hard braking at first.

Goal: building the right surface contact between the pad and rotor.

Result: When done correctly, you can get smoother braking, less noise and vibration, better performance, and potentially longer pad and rotor life.
