Aluminium welders, could you ever get a true reading of your alu welding temps. curious to know. my meter showed a max of 300° which I didnt record at the time but I know 3mm alu should melt at around 600°-650°.

im sure the reflection of the alu makes the meter have a hard time reading.

whats your take on this?
