🚨 BATTERY WARNING LIGHT ON? DON’T IGNORE IT! 🔋

That little red battery symbol on your dashboard is a warning that something may be wrong with your vehicle’s charging system.

It doesn’t necessarily mean your battery is the problem.

⚠️ Possible causes include:
🔋 A weak or failing battery
⚡ Alternator not charging correctly
🔧 Loose or corroded battery terminals
🪢 A damaged or slipping alternator belt
🔌 A problem with the charging system or wiring

If the battery warning light comes on while you’re driving, your vehicle may eventually lose electrical power and stop running once the battery is discharged.

👉 Don’t wait until you are stranded.

🔋 Jump-started your car? Don’t switch it off too soon!

A jump-start gets your engine running, but it doesn’t instantly recharge your battery.

👉 After a jump-start, ideally drive for at least 20–30 minutes to give the alternator time to put some charge back into the battery. Driving is better than simply letting the car idle.

⚠️ But remember: if the battery was completely flat, a 20–30 minute drive may not fully recharge it. A proper battery charger may be needed.

Also, if your battery keeps going flat, don’t just keep jump-starting it. The problem could be:
• A weak or failing battery
• A charging/alternator problem
• A parasitic drain
• Lights or accessories being left on

🔧 If your car needs regular jump-starts, it’s time to have the battery and charging system tested.

🔋 A battery test today can save you a jump-start tomorrow.

Most drivers think of a car battery as one simple part: it either starts the car, or it does not. But your battery does much more than just help the engine turn over.

What Does CCA Mean?

CCA stands for Cold Cranking Amps.

It measures how much starting power a battery can deliver when you turn the key.

A higher CCA generally means stronger starting performance, especially during cold mornings or when the battery is under heavy load.

Your vehicle manufacturer recommends the correct CCA—more isn't always necessary, but less can cause starting problems.
