This week we had a customer with a loose hanging under body cover / skid plate (Opel Mokka). Customer drove through water in Bushy Park area on their way home. Why does this happen? Driving through deep enough water can pull off skid plates. See picture of water covering the road. Guys had to think out of the box to find different fastening method and hardware to avoid this from happening again. Well done guys!

What a save! Corsa Gamma with loose engine mounting. Customer heard loud screetching noise. Mounting bolts dropped into cam belt area behind timing covers. Damaging cam belt, crank gear, water pump and timing covers. Luckily no valve damage. Awesome work guys, caught in time.

Guys are excited to start our new bike build project - Suzuki GSXR 750 Slingshot. We manage to source all parts. Now the cleaning process and rebuild starts.

Hyundai H100 in shop for oil leak. It is sometimes not an easy job to find exact location of oil leak/s. It might be necessary to first clean the effected areas. This one was interesting though. Check how it is leaking pass the oil filler cap. We decided to fit new oil filler cap, tappet cover gasket and cover mounting grommets.

Opel Corsa / Opel Corsa Utility. If you experience poor performance. Difficult to accelerate up a hill. You have done almost everything. Have a look at this. Very common failure. Crank shaft/crank gear wear. Throwing out engine timing causing engine to under perform. The correct way is to replace the crank shaft and to ensure the crank bolt is torqued correctly.

Opel Astra (A16LET). Turbo oil return line (Plastic with heat shield). See how it melted. If you experience oil leaks on your Astra this is where we look first. Another issue is oil leaks on the oil filter housing mounted to the engine block. Very important to follow torque specification not to damage these seal when fastening.
