Founded and based in Melbourne, Australia; 2XU now boasts vast international distribution and is fast becoming the most technical sports brand in the world.

2XU South Africa:

Louis and Mariette approached 2XU (pronounced two times you) in Australia in 2007, at that stage Louis was just getting involved in triathlon and good quality triathlon clothing weren't easily available in South Africa. After some negotiations and meetings with the Australian team, they secured the rights to import and distribute 2XU into South Africa, and that was the start of their business, Designer Sports Marketing. The couple are extremely passionate about the brand and have grown it from strength to strength and today they are proud to be one of South Africa's leading triathlon brands. The technology, research and energy that 2XU put into developing this product is evident the first time you try on a 2XU garment.

No one runs it for you.

Every kilometre is yours to carry, so leave behind anything that isn’t moving you forward. Trapped heat. Soaked fabric. Dead weight.

The run has no passenger.

At 49 years young, I am learning to respect my body . Right now, I'm currently working my way back from a knee injury, and to be completely honest, I don't think I'd be out here running without the compression gear from my sponsors 2XU South Africa . The stability and joint support it provides makes a massive difference in my recovery. Huge gratitude to the 2XU team for always keeping my rotation fully stocked with the best technical gear in the game. Pulling on this specific kit today gave me exactly what I needed to finish strong.Keep moving. Setbacks are just setups for a stronger comeback! 🙌🏾

The Skukuza Half Marathon is legendary for a reason—the incredible wildlife views, the electric atmosphere, and that intense, unrelenting lowveld heat! When you are pushing your limits in tough conditions, having the right gear isn't just a preference—it’s a necessity. I am incredibly proud to be sponsored by 2XU South Africa a brand that keeps me moving forward when the temperature rises. From start to finish, my official 2XU sponsor gear had my back:
The 2XU Cap Ultra-breathable design that kept the sweat out of my eyes and the burning sun off my face.
Compression Shorts & Tights Provided the perfect muscle support, reduced fatigue, and kept chafing completely at bay.
2XU Socks for Maximum comfort and ventilation . Huge thank you to my sponsors at 2XU for engineering high-performance apparel that withstands the toughest race days. It is pure science, ultimate comfort, and peak performance combined.

Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't.
In moments like this, you have two choices: listen to the pain and slow down, or dig deep, believe in your preparation, and keep moving forward. My trusted gear from my sponsor 2XU South Africa carried me through
