Car Safety Tip: Do you know what to do if your dashboard flashes your water coolant symbol? It’s very important to know that if your water coolant is low, you need to pull over straight away and fill your water tank with water.

Should it continue, take it to your nearest garage where they check to see if a pipe is leaking or fill the tank with antifreeze.

A frequently asked question that we receive is customers wanting to know why there is an additional driver fee option when hiring a vehicle from us.
We charge a fee of R100 per rental (no matter how long you will be hiring the car for) if there will be more than 1 driver, as it covers the risk and admin-related costs.

One of the many frequently asked questions we receive from our clients is if there is an administration fee for any traffic fines received. Eco Car and Van Hire charges a R200 (incl. VAT) fee in the event that a client might receive a traffic fine while renting a car from us.
