What a weekend filled with highs, challenges and plenty of racing action at the VAPS HCV Vryheid 400!
The team faced two demanding days of racing, with tough terrain, unexpected setbacks and plenty of determination throughout the penultimate round of the championship.
Gareth Woolridge and Boyd Dreyer showed impressive pace and consistency throughout the event. They pushed hard through the difficult conditions, fighting their way into the top three and securing an impressive P3 finish! A well-deserved result!
Lance Woolridge and André Vermeulen also delivered a strong performance, securing a victory in the prologue and making the most of their time behind the wheel. They battled their way through the field to secure P8!
Unfortunately, Danie Ludick and Adriaan Roets were involved in an accident on the final day of racing, bringing their weekend to an early end. Thankfully, both crew members were reported to be unharmed. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, the most important thing is the safety and well-being of both crew members.
Behind the scenes, the technical team worked tirelessly to keep the cars race-ready, putting in long hours and demonstrating the teamwork and dedication that continue to drive NWM forward.
With valuable lessons and experiences gained, the team now looks ahead to the final round of the South African Rally-Raid Championship in Thabazimbi on 13–14 November! 🏁
