The slave cylinder broke, causing brake fluid to contaminate the new clutch plate that was fitted a few months ago. After removing the gearbox I also found debris from the previous clutch that had broken and unfortunately the previous workshop did not clean and remove all the broken pieces. Luckily it did not cause more damage and I fitted a new complete clutch kit with a new concentric slave cylinder
