Unboxing the UniClutch 4TERRAIN

Unboxing the UniClutch 4TERRAIN — a high-performance, full-ceramic twin-disc clutch system designed for serious off-road, drag-racing and high-torque performance applications.

The UniClutch 4TERRAIN features a 1,600 Nm rated torque capacity, with a peak capacity of up to 2,000 Nm. The UniClutch 4TERRAIN is suited to heavily modified vehicles, high-output engines, serious off-road builds, drag-racing applications and custom engine, flywheel or gearbox combinations where a conventional clutch may not provide sufficient torque capacity.

Despite the extreme torque capability of the UniClutch 4TERRAIN, the modular design is engineered to provide a light, precise and controlled pedal feel compared with many traditional heavy-duty clutch systems.

The exact pedal effort will depend on the vehicle’s hydraulic system, clutch setup, installation and overall application, so there is no single universal foot-pedal pressure figure.

The UniClutch 4TERRAIN uses cerametallic friction material, forged internal components and a pre-dampener stage to handle extreme torque, heat and aggressive performance use.

Every UniClutch 4TERRAIN system consists of the UniClutch 4TERRAIN core and the correct vehicle-specific UniClutch Flex Fitment Kit, allowing the UniClutch 4TERRAIN system to be adapted to different flywheel and gearbox configurations.

V12 Toyota 86R — Startup and Rev
A short video of the V12 1GZFE starting up and being revved.
The valvetronic exhaust system is finally installed, while we are still running the stock 1GZ-FE headers. The sound is already impressive, but the next step is achieving the F1-inspired sound we are looking for with equal length headers.

🔵Another Honda is about to receive an upgrade! 🔧

This Honda Civic Type R FN2 2.0 will soon be fitted with a 195mm UniClutch Sport setup. The UniClutch Sport offers the same clutch pedal feel as the standard clutch, while providing a peak torque capacity of 875Nm.

Custom UniClutch setup? The details matter.

When a UniClutch is being fitted to a custom engine, gearbox or bellhousing combination, it is not a case of simply bolting it in and hoping for the best. Correct measurements and setup are critical to ensure the clutch releases properly, retains the right free play and does not suffer from drag, slip or damage caused by excessive hydraulic stroke.

In this video, we cover the key checks for a custom UniClutch installation—from spline fitment, release-bearing selection and finger height, through to runout, hydraulic stroke and pedal-stop setup.

✋⛔V12 Toyota 86R Front Brake Upgrade⛔✋
More power and more weight means we need a lot more stopping power! The V12 Toyota 86R has moved away from the standard 275mm front discs and now runs 315mm drilled discs - giving us a disc that is 40mm larger in diameter.

The upgraded discs are also 6mm thicker, which will help with heat management and cooling when braking hard. To match the larger discs, we upgraded the front brakes to Brembo 4-piston calipers.

Upgrading the front brakes on the V12 Toyota 86R by swapping out the old smooth rotors for high-performance drilled discs to safely bring all that extra V12 momentum to a dead stop.
