One of my latest commissioned illustrations—a classic Mercedes-Benz Unimog.

This one done in my Realistic Cartoon style..

The small photo in the corner is the client’s original reference image. The larger image is my hand-drawn, cartoon-inspired interpretation, created to be a bit cartoonish while preserving the character and details of the original vehicle.

I love taking an everyday photograph and transforming it into something unique that can be proudly displayed on a wall.

✈️ Recently completed commission – Light Aircraft Illustration

Most people know me for drawing classic cars, muscle cars and race cars…

But every now and then something a little different lands on the drawing board.

This custom aircraft commission recently took flight, complete with cockpit detail and the owner’s specific colour scheme.

I have to admit, drawing an aircraft is a completely different challenge to drawing a car — but that’s part of what makes commissioned artwork interesting. Every project teaches you something new.

Thank you Martin for the challenge! I hope you like it!

Question for the aviation enthusiasts:

If you could own any aircraft purely for fun, what would it be?

A bush plane?
A warbird?
An aerobatic aircraft?
Or something completely different?
