BRAGGING RIGHTS 2026 WAS A HUGE SUCCESS FOR THE SPARTANS!
5 cars entered, endless pre-event challenges and results better than we could have ever asked for! A massive thank you to Nazzy, his entire team, Killarney International Raceway and VP Racing Fuels for putting on the event of the year.
Congratulations to all the competitors and a special thank you to every spectator and supporter who stopped by, said hi and cheered us on throughout the weekend!

Drew’s TTRS | 8.6s:
Getting into the 8s was never going to be easy and testing proved it the hard way. After shattering the gearbox just days before the event, the team worked magic: sourcing a replacement, porting over the upgraded clutches and Wavetrac differential, getting it reinstalled and dialing in calibration. Securing us a huge personal best and official bragging rights as CAPE TOWNS FASTEST DAZA!
Taufeeqah’s 7.5R | 9.9s:
This car tested the Essa Family! After completely destroying the rear prop coupler, we sourced a replacement and finished fitting it the night before. Battling boost issues on Sunday, we pulled the diverter valve, found it failed, and salvaged parts off our trusty GTI. First pass out? A spicy 9.9s! Securing herself the title of Fastest female driver for the event.
Shaun’s 7.5R | 9.8s:
Making its official debut in drag spec on borrowed radials from a fellow Spartan, Shaun ran consistent 9-second passes all weekend long. Who says you can’t daily a 9-second car and race it?
James’ B9 S4 — 10.5s:
Showcasing our new race features like Adjustable launch control and flex fuel for the Audi B9 platform. Running full weight and swapping out to slicks, James put down rock-solid passes all weekend. There is plenty more to come from this platform!
Junaid’s TTRS | 10.6s:
Laying down lethal 10.6s PB on street tyres! Running our complete DAZA RACE software calibration, Hulk proved its brutal consistency. Once we slap a set of slicks on this beast.. you know the story.
