We are proud to unveil our latest model, developed in collaboration with BBR Motorsport. The CR-X has been designed to compete in the FIA Challenger class of the World Rally-Raid Championship and aims to set a new benchmark in the category.

"It's been eight months in the making and this partnership came about when we found out that BBR wanted to design an all-new prototype. We offered our expertise in bodywork and suspension design while Loïc and Kévin from BBR shared their vast knowledge of the class after three straight Dakar wins. We envision BBR becoming our de facto junior team as the Challenger class has been a great feeder for the Ultimate class" explain Julien Hardy, Century Racing CEO. "We have applied tried and tested recipes when it came to the suspension design and vehicle dynamics and hopefully the CR-X will carry some of Century Racing DNA in terms of handling and comfort. The close cockpit will also add another dimension in terms of drag and occupant comfort".

"It is with immense pride that I present our new Challenger rally-raid race car, adds Loïc Bonnevie, owner of BBR. "For the past year, Kevin Delcros and I have been working to combine all our experience and knowledge of the discipline to design the best possible car. Building on our expertise gained over the last four seasons of the W2RC, as well as our three consecutive Dakar victories, we are confident that we can offer our drivers a vehicle capable of achieving new wins. Mechanically, the CR-X Odyssey is equipped with a 1.0L 3-cylinder Can-Am engine with a Rotax 7DCT gearbox and SADEV differentials. We finalized this project in close collaboration with Century Racing, and particularly with Julien Hardy and his design team. Their expertise in aerodynamic bodywork, car dynamics, and chassis design are invaluable assets for creating a high-performance car. The CR-X Odyssey's mindset is clearly to be a mini T1+, so it was a natural choice for Kevin and me to partner with a manufacturer in the Ultimate category for our project. For the past three years, we have been committed to developing young talents and preparing them for the highest levels of rally-raid. The CR-X Odyssey was born with this same ambition: to offer drivers a high-performance training platform capable of supporting them all the way to the Ultimate category. We can't wait to see this car write the next chapter of the BBR Motorsport story and contribute to new victories!"

The CR-X will make its world debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this coming weekend, where Loïc and Kévin will take to the wheel for its first run up the famous hill climb. The vehicle's competitive debut is scheduled for later this year in Morocco, where it will begin its FIA Challenger World Championship campaign.

The South African Rally-Raid Championship Ingco Parys 400 started on a high note with Jayden Els securing first place in a tightly contested qualifying session, giving the team a strong platform to build from.

Stage 1, the terrain shifted from technical, corner-heavy sections to faster, more flowing tracks. Making the most of the conditions, Brian Baragwanath and Leonard Cremer delivered a strong third-place finish on the 21.31 km loop, showcasing both the pace of the CR6 and the crew’s ability to adapt to the changing terrain. Unfortunately, Jayden Els encountered a belt issue that was challenging to repair in muddy conditions, causing him to lose time when heading towards the finish line of stage 1.

Stage 2, Brian Baragwanath and Leonard Cremer suffered a rear puncture during heavy dust and poor visibility. Despite this demanding stage, Jayden Els and Johann Swemmer maintained a strong pace, securing fourth place.

With encouraging speed shown throughout the day, the team celebrates today’s small victories carrying the momentum into day 2.

We are excited to announce that Jayden Els will join the Century Racing factory line-up from the opening round of the South African National Championship next weekend.

Jayden began racing go-karts at the age of seven and quickly established himself as one of South Africa’s brightest young motorsport talents. At just 12 years old, he became the Mini Max Karting World Champion and won the Africa Open in the same year. He later expanded his racing career into rallying and circuit racing, securing multiple national class championships in rallying in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

In recent years, Jayden has made the transition to rally raid, where he has already demonstrated impressive pace and potential. He has competed in two rounds of the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship, including the Sun City and Morocco events in 2025. He will be partnered by navigator Johann Swemmer, who has shared the cockpit with him since 2024.

“A very exciting time for us to welcome Jayden to our line-up, he’s bringing with him a mix of youth, speed and versatility which will help develop our cars further. He will hopefully fulfill his personal goals driving a Century Racing car and we can’t wait to get him comfortable in the car!” says Mark Corbett, CEO of the Century Group.

“It’s with great privilege to welcome Jayden back as a King Price Xtreme athlete and to continue the journey together as we push into an exciting new chapter of performance, growth, and racing success with Century Racing” — Schalk Burger, Team Principal of King Price Xtreme.
