What are you actually buying when you buy a tail lift?

A quotation tells you the price and lifting capacity. But what does it tell you about the lift’s performance over time and the support available when something goes wrong?

With more low-cost options on the market, these are questions worth asking:

🔹 Has the lift been tested in South African operating conditions? Consider the roads, distances, loads and daily demands your fleet faces.

🔹 What does the complete lift weigh? An aluminium platform does not mean the entire unit is aluminium. In our comparisons, some Mr. Taillift steel models have weighed less than comparable lifts with aluminium platform components.

🔹 Are parts available locally? Who can repair the lift, and how long might your vehicle be out of operation while waiting for a part?

🔹 What support comes after installation? A tail lift needs ongoing servicing and maintenance, regardless of its brand.
