We're proud to announce that Grip-Tech is now an ISO 9001:2015-compliant manufacturer.

Our ongoing focus on quality has paid dividends and this certification means all products manufactured by Grip-Tech conform to stringent manufacturing processes and that the company has systems in place to monitor this on an ongoing basis.
The 9001:2015 quality assurance system - as certified by TUV Rheinland Inspection Services -
is important in that it gives OEM manufacturers confidence that a product is consistently of the quality it claims to be. In other words, every Grip-Tech product’s provenance is a known factor and must stay that way – which is why an annual audit is required to maintain accreditation.

ISO compliance was a requirement for Ford and our Auto-Grip spare wheel lock kits are now a Ford Licenced Accessory (FLA) on Ranger and Everest. This means that customers can now have this heavy-duty lock – designed and manufactured entirely in South Africa – fitted at a Ford dealership. In addition, a spare wheel locking kit for the Raptor is available directly from Grip-Tech, along with an existing stable of products for Ford models.

It has always been an objective of Grip-Tech to achieve this important manufacturing certification. It matters to the industry as it gives an assurance that a product standard is being rigorously applied. This will stand us in good stead in the future as we seek to do business with OEMs for whom ISO9001:2015 is a requirement.

The Auto-Grip product lines have continued to grow in popularity with the public, as well as being accepted by leading vehicle manufacturers. Brands such as Isuzu, Nissan, Mitsubishi, GWM, Hyundai, Mahindra and others have already approved numerous products within the range for specific applications.

For example, every Navara manufactured at Nissan’s Rosslyn plant has an Auto-Grip spare wheel lock fitted at the facility. Isuzu owners can have an Auto-Grip lock fitted to the spare wheel of their MUX or DMAX (both current and previous generation versions of both) at an Isuzu dealer.
