Dear Customers.

April was a productive month for us at Mechaniwagen, we got to do many exciting jobs.
This one is for a loyal customer driving an Audi A4.
The vehicle was losing power, after compression tests and diagnostics scans, we had to strip the head, we found rocker arms broken and valves leaking.
Head was sent to engineering for reconditioning and soda blasting.
Upon return we reinstalled the head, redid the timing and replaced the valves and finished off with a service and one last diagnostics scan to make sure everything is 100% good to go.
Next time you need a mechanic remember us we will be ready.

In April our Mechaniwagen team had the privilege of helping a customer with his Audi S3.
After all the necessary tests and diagnostics we determined that the high pressure fuel pump is not working and needed to be replaced, while busy it was determined that the water pump, water bottle and cap needed to be replaced with the turbo actuator also not functioning. The vehicle also had a oil leak that we repaired by replacing the sump.

Toyota Fortuner Rear Diff Removal, Reconditioning and re-installment.

In April we had the pleasure of helping a customer with what appeared to be a simple bearing replacement turned out to much bigger.
There was damage to the shaft, resulting in the need to remove the shaft and diff, having it reconditioned and re-installing it, with new brake and diff fluids, we also replaced the rear brake shoes/linings and rear brake cylinder. Vehicle washed, test driven and a=always one last check before we release the vehicle.

We always make our own diagnosis before working on a customers car.

Mechaniwagen had the pleasure of replacing a engine for a Volkswagen Amarok.

However the customer could have saved so much money and time if he had just remembered to have the timing belt replaced and the timing redone every 75 000 - 80 000 km instead.

The timing belt broke and it cost the customer an engine. The maintenance of your car is so important. It might cost you now but it can save you so much in the long run.
