🔧 Ford Ranger 3.2 TDCi - Diesel Knock Solved!💪🏻
This Ford Ranger 3.2 TDCi came in with a noticeable diesel knock at low to mid RPM. After thorough diagnosis, we identified the injectors as the culprit/ Keep in mind these injectors were recently repaired by another shop not only was this poorly done but complete incompetence is immediately visible. They failed on various different tests and 3 out of the 5 was the totally incorrect injectors for this vehicle!!!
We carried out a complete injector reconditioning process, followed by a thorough cleaning of the entire fuel system.
Injectors were reinstalled - and the Ranger is running like a beast again! 🔥

⚠️ Don’t be too quick to believe that your injectors need to be replaced.
We recondition these injectors regularly and with excellent results. These injectors (Continental Siemens Piezo) require a specific reconditioning process, specialised equipment and the correct testing procedures.
Unfortunately, not everyone claiming they can recondition common-rail injectors has the equipment or expertise to do the job correctly - and sometimes replacing an injector is simply the easier way to make a sale.
