I was forced to let you go—forced to walk out of your life, even though every part of me wanted to stay. It wasn’t a choice I made out of strength, but out of necessity, because you left me standing alone in something that was supposed to be ours. Unlike you, I meant it when I promised forever. I didn’t say those words lightly—I carried them with intention, with hope, with a belief that what we had was real and lasting.

When I told you I saw a future with you, and only you, I had already begun building that life in my mind—one where we grew together, chose each other every day, and never had to question where we stood. But somewhere along the way, it became painfully clear that I was the only one holding onto that vision. You stopped seeing me in your future long before I ever let myself imagine one without you.

And now, I’m left with the quiet weight of what could have been—with memories that still feel alive, and a love that didn’t get the ending it deserved. The hardest part isn’t just losing you—it’s knowing I’ll have to carry the absence of you for longer than I ever had the chance to know you at all.

Not everyone who dislikes me is wrong… but let’s be honest about why.

Maybe I didn’t stay quiet.
Maybe I didn’t clap along just to fit in.
Maybe I said the things others were too comfortable or too afraid to say.

While some chose comfort, I chose truth. And truth has a way of making people uneasy especially those who are used to being validated, not questioned.

You call it attitude. I call it accountability.

If standing up against what’s wrong makes me the villain in your story, then so be it.

Because I’d rather be disliked for being real than accepted for being fake.

A stage of healing is disgust—yes, disgust. You will feel it deeply. You’ll look back at the people whose love you once chased and feel repulsed. You’ll feel embarrassed by the choices you made and by who you allowed access to you—people who never deserved it.

Feel it. Let it move through you. And then let it go.

Because that version of you? It will never exist again.

Sometimes what was meant to break you becomes the very force that rebuilds you.

The people who left, the pain that once felt unbearable; it didn’t destroy you, it refined you.

It carved strength into your bones and clarity into your mind.

And the moment you truly understand that nothing you survived was in vain…

You stop being someone who can be broken.

Not every battle is meant to be fought out loud.

There’s a moment — and you’ve probably felt it — where something shifts inside you. You stop explaining. You stop defending. You stop trying to make someone understand what they were never willing to see in the first place.

And from the outside, it can look like silence. Like surrender. Like you’ve backed down.

But internally?
That’s the moment you’ve made a decision.

Because arguing with someone who thrives on misunderstanding you is exhausting. It drains your energy, disturbs your peace, and keeps you stuck in a cycle that goes nowhere.

So you choose something different.

You choose to step back.
Not because you have nothing to say…
but because you finally realise not everything deserves your voice.

Silence, in that moment, isn’t weakness.
It’s self-respect.

Walking away isn’t losing.
It’s recognising that your time, your energy, and your peace are too valuable to be spent in the wrong place.

And the truth most people won’t admit is this:

The strongest people aren’t the ones who win every argument—
they’re the ones who know which ones are no longer worth having.🧘‍♂️☯️💝
