Hi, Im Claudia!
I'm 20 years young and the proud owner of Slice of Heaven.
My baking journey began during my matric year when I entered a cake decorating competition.
At the time, I knew absolutely nothing about baking. I taught myself everything I could, hoping to create something special.
Although I didn't succeed in the competition, I found something far more valuable-a passion that would change my life.
Instead of giving up, I kept learning, practicing, and challenging myself to become better every single day. That one competition sparked a dream that has grown into the business you're supporting today.
Every cookie, brownie, cupcake, and cake is handmade using quality ingredients, with lots of love, care, and attention to detail. Seeing my products sell out in a single day reminds me why I took the leap and believed in myself.
Recently, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life-I left my full-time job to follow my dream of baking full time. It's both exciting and scary, but I truly believe that when you follow your passion with your whole heart, amazing things can happen.

My name is Royandie Swart, I matriculated at Highschool Lydenburg, studied Consumer Science at TUKS, married my highschool love and have three beautiful kids.

I have always had a tremendous love for our town, its old buildings and the absolute potential that it has. Imbali Garden & Lifestyle Centre, Imbali Pets and Bloom Café came because I saw the potential it had.

Since taking over Imabli I have implemented a lot of changes and upgrades. We work hard to offer a wide range of products, at good quality and conveniently available locally. We are also proud to say that at Imbali it is mostly ladies who make the wheel turn! Our biggest goal is to offer a peaceful, beautiful experience, where even if you don’t buy anything, you can come to unwind and leave a little lighter and happier.

Some things to look forward to this summer is our newly renovated and restocked pet store, a deliciously fresh summer smoothie menu at Bloom Café and LOADS of beautiful plants at Imbali Garden! Royandie Van Rooyen Swart

Our family business began in 1997 when my mother started baking rusks to help pay for my university education.

In 2005, shortly after I got married, I took over the business, knowing it would allow me the flexibility to raise a family while continuing the legacy she had built.

For nearly three decades, we have remained committed to using our trusted family recipes and only the finest ingredients, ensuring every batch is baked with care and consistency.

We believe that quality, dedication, and a personal touch are the reasons our customers keep coming back.

By the grace of God, our family business continues to grow, and we are grateful for the loyal support of our customers throughout the years.

Meet the Owner – Larrisa Beeslaar

My name is Larrisa Beeslaar, and I am the proud owner of Dwergieland Pre-School, a school that has been part of the Lydenburg community since 2012. As a wife, mother of two beautiful children, and someone who has called Lydenburg home for almost my entire life, I understand the importance of providing children with a safe, loving, and inspiring environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.

I completed my schooling at Laerskool Lydenburg and Hoërskool Lydenburg, and my passion has always been to invest back into the community that helped shape the person I am today. Working with children is more than just a career for me—it is my calling. Every child deserves to feel valued, encouraged, and supported as they begin their educational journey, and I believe that the early years lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning.

At Dwergieland, we are committed to creating a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels at home. Our dedicated team focuses on developing each child's academic, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual well-being through meaningful play, structured learning, and individual attention. We believe that every child is unique, learns at their own pace, and deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential.

As a parent myself, I know that choosing a preschool is one of the most important decisions a family can make.
