NEW ISUZU 1.9TD BEAST MODE😈

Just like the over engineering of the 4jj3 3.0TD models in the latest trip V-Cross models - we see an absolute bang for buck BEAST in these new 1.9TD Isuzu vans!!

Having NO CATALYTIC CONVERTERS & NO DPF SYSTEMS in the exhaust we jumped straight onto stage 2 development and our auto gearbox calibration to make these vans a force to be reckoned with!!

The client couldn't even believe the difference when he jumped into his suped up BEAST and wanted to make sure we didn't swap her out for a 3.0TD😉

Development will continue as I'm sure torque numbers can still go higher but as for the kw/hp specs I'm more than happy to leave these frugal "little" 1.9TD engines around the 145-150kw mark and not over work the very impressively sized turbo!!

LEGEND 2.8GD6 STAGE 2+AUTO

Another LEGEND 2.8GD6 Tuned to perfection - Another post trying to improve everyone's knowledge of tuning!!

⬇️⬇️READ BELOW!⬇️⬇️

We often redo many clients vehicles that have alleged been "dyno tuned" to which they receive astronomical numbers on a suspiciously calibrated dyno followed by a print out of these numbers so they can brag about their power they "make".

To give a good example, on Gd6 Hilux's the auto model gearbox's cannot be locked in 1 gear or even get close to 100% throttle before they kick down and over rev in the previous gear - on a dyno this throws your numbers all over the place.

Shops manipulate this throttle position adjustments to try show maximum power but it's impossible to be accurate within even 10-20% run after run as you will be fighting against kick down from anything over 60% throttle then the gearbox kicks down and run must be redone - many shops use this method to manipulate what they want to show you with what they deem acceptable then give you back a vehicle that performs poorly!!

You drive off with a piece of paper that seems be to concrete evidence of the improvement received from your vehicle that actually doesn't perform better in the real world and certainly doesn't improve consumption like most of our tunes do!!

We have done many many dyno tunes and even more road logging and development on all our specialty tunes on basically the entire Bakkie market and aim to give safe useable power instead of ridiculous claims and clouds of smoke!!
