FUEL LEVIES MUST FALL!

South Africans cannot afford to keep paying the price for rising fuel costs and government inefficiencies.

The Automobile Association (AA) is calling on National Treasury to cut fuel taxes by R3 per litre, scrap the RAF levy and deliver meaningful, long-term relief to consumers.

AA CEO Bobby Ramagwede has issued an open letter to the Ministry of Finance demanding urgent action.

South Africans need relief. Not another increase.

Fuel prices are up again this October, putting even more pressure on South African motorists.

At the AA, we believe every rand at the pump matters. That’s why we’ll continue to speak up for motorists and advocate for a fairer fuel price.

Your tank. Our fight.

96 years. Countless journeys. One purpose: keeping Mzansi moving.

Since 1930, the cars, the roads and the way we travel have all changed.

But the heart of the AA has stayed the same: being there for people.

This Heritage Day, we celebrate 96 years of showing up for South Africans – members and non-members alike.

AA. Keeping Mzansi moving since 1930.

30 days of FREE Armed Response for women across South Africa.

It’s the AA’s way of saying: we see you, we hear you, and we’re doing our part.

In Episode 3 of AA Talks, CEO Bobby Ramagwede unpacks why the realities of violence against women prompted the AA to act - giving women access to on-demand Armed Response when they feel unsafe.

And the conversation doesn’t end there. From safer cars and used-vehicle inspections to warranties, parts delays and the changing economics of EV ownership, Episode 3 tackles some of the issues affecting South Africans on and off the road.

AA is giving women across South Africa 30 days of free Armed Response.

But women don’t live with the reality of violence for just 30 days.
So we’re asking corporate South Africa to help us extend the support.
Help fund more days. Help us keep it going for longer.
Because this is bigger than any one organisation.
And because women shouldn’t have to live like this.
