Duties will include

• Analyze come backs, discuss with the productive staff responsible and institute/introduce effective remedial action
• Liaise with parts department regarding outstanding parts on order
• Ensure that the responsible person contact the customers with regards to parts that was ordered and arrived
• Ensure that warranty claim parts are returned to warranty store
• Minimize unproductive time
• Control issuing of consumable materials
• Maintain and update technical knowledge and skills
• Ensure timeous oil dips with reports
• Ensure that all the required Manufacturer’s reporting is done timeously
• Carry out additional duties from time to time at the discretion of management
• Adhere to all CSDP Programs
• Obtain and maintain the Customer Experience scoreboard according to the Manufacturer’s targets
• Ensure regular meetings are held with staff, including filed minutes

Environmental Standards:
• Ensure the safe storage and disposal of harmful substances and materials.
• Keep up to date with environmental standards
• Ensure that there is an up-to-date trained Health and Safety Representative, Fire Marshal and First Aider
• Ensure that the dealership is in compliance with SA Environmental Audit Check Sheet.

• A valid South African driver's license and own reliable transport.

Job Specification:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Ensure sufficient productive hours are sold compared to productive hours available.
• Ensure the preparation, service, and repairs of all vehicles within the workshop are done according to standard.
• Comply with and implement the correct safety procedures when executing a specific task or job.
• Utilize all required PPE equipment provided, including gloves, eye protection and safety shoes.
• Provide a diagnostic service for workshop vehicles (e.g. steering, brakes, transmission, drive train, fuel systems, electronic components etc.).
• Make use of modern diagnostic equipment to maximize effective vehicle service and to interpret findings.
• Diagnose faults by utilizing the recommended equipment.
• Service all required electronic equipment.
• Ensure all work on job cards are completed to specification and recorded accurately.
• Discuss and explain service details with customers as and when required.
• Achieve a continuous high performance work ethic of detail and deadline orientation.
• Ensure service comebacks are eliminated based on negligent work performed.
• Provide technical and/ or non-technical assistance to the workshop staff.

• Attend qualified technical training, as and when required.
