I am reaching out to all Vodacom clients who made a Samsung ZFold 5 purchase on contract and the main screen started peeling on you before the device made it out of warranty.
If you have this same issue please read to the end and share for us to help everyone because this can and will help you, don't forget you are the very honest client paying R50 000 for this device that never even made it out of warranty.
When you honestly took the phone in for a warranty claim they were telling you your phone was dropped when you know very well your phone has never dropped and because of what they refer to as scratches from replacing the phone guard which is stuck to the phone with double sided type and to replace the guard with a new Samsung cover. The old double sided type has to be removed with an alcohol rag ,which is a very soft piece of fabric, before replacing it with a new guard and this results in the electro plating fading on the sides of the phone. Vodacom tells you your phone is out of warranty because you were doing the best thing to protect your phone they made you pay a ridiculous R 18000 to replace the screen while this was very well a warranty claim.
Not leveling out the clients who are saddled with this extremely expensive device with only one screen functioning because you thought Vodacom is too big for you to fight for a fair service.
Please, let's stand together against this very unfair consumer treatment and claim your consumer rites as we are paying very dearly for a over priced device summing up to R50 000 and you must be faced with an additional R 18000 to replace a screen that pealed right in front of your eyes before it even made it out of its Warranty.
There are millions being raked in from the consumer with this unlawful practice resulting in consumers loss.
Please feel free to send your details as there is much more power in numbers. And with the right person driving this we will claim back our consumer rites in this matter.
Google your peeling screen, the proof is all over the internet! The folding screen is not a very successful invention.
