Not every shipment looks like a shipment. This one looks like a day at the amusement park. 🎢

Behind the colourful cargo is a carefully planned project logistics movement from Johannesburg to Rotterdam.

Our team coordinated the packing in Johannesburg, road freight to Durban and onward sea freight to the Port of Rotterdam, including fumigation and cargo insurance.

The shipment required a 40-foot high cube open top container - and with container equipment shortages continuing across South Africa, securing the right equipment took some forward planning.

Our team worked directly with the shipping line and depots to secure availability and keep the shipment moving.

Packing. Road freight. Equipment sourcing. Fumigation. Insurance. Sea freight.

A few more moving parts than your average ride. 😉

A few days well spent at NAMPO Cape. 🌾🚜

It was great to be in Bredasdorp for NAMPO Cape 2026 and spend time amongst the people and businesses that keep South Africa’s agricultural industry moving.

From seeing what’s happening across the sector to meeting new people and having some really worthwhile conversations, there was plenty to take away from the trip.

For us at Atrax Logistics, the visit provided a valuable opportunity to engage more closely with the industry, gain insight into the operational needs of the businesses we support and explore how our logistics expertise can add greater value across equipment and supply movements, warehousing, distribution, imports and exports.

We’re heading to NAMPO Cape 2026!

The Atrax Logistics team will be in Bredasdorp for one of the key events on South Africa’s agricultural calendar.
