This is one of the worst things you can do in a fully loaded truck going downhill: A) Select too high a gear B) Use engine braking C) Reduce speed before the descent D) Maintain a controlled speed

Answer: A — selecting too high a gear.

Once you're already picking up speed downhill, correcting it late puts you in a much worse position. Get the gear and speed right before the descent, not during it.
