It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the tragic and sudden passing of our founder, director, dad, beloved friend, and mentor.

He was more than just the driving force behind Air Shock Centre; he was at the heart of it. His passion, vision, and unwavering dedication built not only a business, but the family that we are today. He led with strength and kindness, leaving a lasting impact on every person who had the privilege of knowing him.

To many of us, he was a guiding light, always ready with advice, encouragement, and a belief in people that inspired us to be better every day. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched, and the foundation he built.

He will be missed more than words can ever describe.

We are devastated by this loss and ask that you please respect the family’s privacy during this incredibly difficult time.

Atmospheric (Air) vs Nitrogen Suspension Systems - What’s the Difference?

At Air Shock Centre, we service all air suspension systems – from standard air (atmospheric) systems to sealed nitrogen systems. Vehicles like the Jeep Grand Cherokee WK, Porsche Cayenne 92A, VW Touareg 7P and Porsche Panamera all run on sealed nitrogen systems.

So, what’s the big difference? Let’s break it down:

Atmospheric / Air Systems:
1. Uses normal outside air pulled in by a compressor.
2. Because it’s outside air, it contains moisture and oxygen.
3. Moisture can cause corrosion, seals to wear faster, and even freezing in cold weather.
4. Pressure changes more with temperature, so ride comfort can feel a bit inconsistent.

Nitrogen / Sealed Systems:
1. A closed / sealed system filled with dry nitrogen gas.
2. No oxygen = less corrosion and no moisture.
3. More stable pressure, giving a smoother and more consistent ride.
4. Components last longer, with fewer moisture-related problems.

If your suspension system is giving problems – leaking components, uneven ride height, compressor running too often – it may need attention.
