SAA Crèche was founded in 2011 after Mrs. Mabel Phiri (The Chairperson of SAECDC) better known as Godmother after she was approached to render ECD services within the SAA environment. She is a community stalwart, a project developer and community builder. Over the past year, the SAA Crèche has grown to be one of the best Kindergarden within its locality with an enrollment of over 180 children regi
stered within its first year of operation. SAA Crèche’s historical background is rooted on the premise that implicit in the Reconstruction and Development Programme (RDP) the idea that South African society and the territory it occupies should be constructed on a system that it addresses the past imbalances or injustices caused by assisting in the process of child development from babyhood to school age. South African Airways Crèche as an early age childhood development project its convictions is that the children are the pillars of the future nation, and through correct training methodologies of the childhood development programmes as offered here it is hoped that future nation is being born. By developing motor control, developing senses and language development, the management of Ulandi Kindergarten modus operandi is that this project is playing a pivotal role in the total general development of a child. It is with this in mind that the Ulandi Kindergarten a registered non-profit entity with the Department of Social Development submits this profile for funding consideration.
