Chery Tiggo 7 CSH PHEV

The new and refreshed Chery Tiggo 7 has arrived in South Africa, here’s what the new updated version has to offer:
The inner workings of the new Tiggo 7 CSH plus would present’s “a binary force” with its Dual electric motor 1.5-Litre Turbocharged Petrol Engine. This integration of power sources delivers 265kW & 530N.m of torque working together with a DHT Transmission send power to the front wheels.

New facelifted Tiggo 7 model will come with Wheels: 18″ alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights, Dual 12.3″ screens (digital instrument cluster + infotainment touchscreen), daytime running lights, LED taillamps & rear fog lights standard for both trims.

BMW M2 CS

“Hotter than ever-and then some”

After getting a glimpse of a now reveals M2 CS, we finally get some detail on what the best M car on sale could be.

Some weight saving has been accomplished with 43kg being stripped out. This is due to it having a lighter duck-tail trunk lid and carbon fiber body panels just to name a few.

The 3.0-Litre twin turbo straight six has been tuned to produces 523 HP (390kW) and 650Nm of torque. A 50HP (27kW) and 50Nm increase from the standard M2. There is no manual version of the new CS. As with other CS models, this new vehicle will come with its eight-speed automatic transmission.

We have been quite familiar with the Omoda brand for some years now, first introducing themselves with the C5.A small compact SUV crossover is the modern design structure presented. Launched and released on in December 2024. This is the new flagship model of the Omoda lineup

The C9 has a distinctive and bold design that draws inspiration from architectural brutalist style. A diamond frameless grille, sleek headlamps, LED daytime running lights, a rear spoiler and flush exterior door handles.

Facelifted Omoda C5 Elegance

The Omoda C5 is ready for refresh after just two years?

This is the New Omoda C5 facelift. One of South Africa’s favourite premium compact crossovers, The Omoda brand made its South African debut in April 2023 with the launch of the Omoda C5. The Omoda marque, a luxury brand under the Chery Group, is sold through Chery dealerships. Since its launch, the Omoda lineup has expanded in South Africa, including the addition of the J7 and C9.

The numbers for the Chinese car-brand are exceptionally good. The Omoda C5 sold 1,628 units in South Africa, according to Cars.co.za.

This update is supposed to be a more refined driving experience and greater practicality. We are here to see what the significant new changes that hopefully don’t affect the price.

Looking at its exterior, this new style language includes a new sportier redesign to the front fascia with the polished and sophisticated diamond matrix grille.

A more revised lower bumper for a more modern look. The headlamps have been restyled, daytime running lamps have a more dynamic look and black allow wheels for a more dynamic appeal.

POWERTRAIN

A new dual-clutch transmission(DCT) will now be available in conjunction with a six-speed gearbox paired all together in a 1.5-litre petrol engine, producing 115kW and 230Nm of torque.

Greater practically is what is mentioned in this aspect, the rear cabin space has increased from 378 to 442 Litre. With the rear row folded flat, the cabin space would be 1,149 litres of cargo.

A five-year/150,000 km warranty, five-year/70,000 km service plan, and the industry-leading ten-year/one-million km engine warranty as part of the standard price.

The 2026 Omoda C5 Elegance X is expected to cost R465,900. This price is R42,000 less than the previous Elegance model.

Stylistically, the Shark 6 has a very rectangular configuration, reason being is that engineers prioritising off-road capability and safety.The design incorporates elements like a high-strength steel frame and the Blade Battery for safety, while a hybrid powertrain, advanced suspension, and electronic traction control enhance off-road performance.

The is not the first PHEV bakkie to come to the country, but this will be the bakkie with the most power. Plans suggest the shark 6 will not only rival, but will beat one of its toughest competitors the new PHEV Ford Ranger. It wants to take the throne of best Double-Cab in the country.

There has been several new bakkkies coming to Mzansi that have increased the variety of options when it comes to looking for one. This is another one I think you should consider.

Here in the market for R599,900. The G7 limited edition intends to be an affordable double-cab bakkie that renders a combination of durability, features and practicality while offering to handle both work tasks and everyday leisure.

The bakkies are initially imported to South Africa from China. SAIC will start manufacturing vehicles locally from Their BAIC factory in Gqeberha from 2026.

All G7 models are powered by a 2/turbo diesel four-cylinder engine with outputs of 120kW and 390Nm mated to an eight-speed ZF transmission.
