The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources has announced fuel price reductions effective 1 July 2026:

• Petrol 93: ▼ R2.01 per litre
• Petrol 95: ▼ R1.96 per litre
• Diesel (0.05% sulphur): ▼ R3.14 per litre
• Diesel (0.005% sulphur): ▼ R3.59 per litre

For a typical 50‑litre tank, that’s a saving of about R98–R100 on petrol or over R175 on diesel every time you fill up.
