Marco Casciani, founder of RACE! began his journey just after high school. While studying mechanical engineering and finding his way through university, he also found himself in the pizza business. But even then, it was clear that his real passion lay elsewhere, in mechanical things, and more specifically, in motorcycles.
What started as a personal obsession soon became something deeper. He turned a small garden cottage on his parents’ property into a workshop, where he began building and experimenting with 125cc and 250cc two-stroke bikes. At first, it was purely for himself riding, learning, and spending time at the track but before long, one bike became two, then three, and he began building for others as well.
As the pizza business grew, it gave him the means to buy motorcycles, learn more, and immerse himself further in the world he loved. Over time, that passion became conviction. He realised motorcycles were not just an interest, they were his future.
So he made a defining decision. Marco sold his shares in the pizza business, which had grown into multiple stores, and went all in. With that, he moved to Italy, bought a CBR600 and a van, and began competing in small championship races. Italy became a turning point exposing him to one of the most advanced motorcycle cultures in the world, and shaping the vision that would eventually become RACE!
What began with instinct, obsession, and a willingness to bet on himself has since grown into something far greater. And while the journey so far has already been defining, it is clear that for Marco — and for RACE! this is still only part of a much bigger story unfolding.
