It is great to be able to own 3 of the most legendary adventure bikes. I can now speak from experience of all 3. They all have their place. That being said, I still love the way the KLR takes EVERYTHING you throw at it with no problem. It never dies on me, and being a bit slow, it has saved me from many speeding fines. The GS is a really nice looong road tourer, some dirt roads here and there but does not really like sand or mud to much. The KTM 990 is a real hooligan machine. I love the raw power, deep growl and wide balace point for wheelies. Off road I enjoy it except the fact that the back wheel brakes traction all the time. Feels like a dirt bike when riding single track. So like I said, I consider myself VERY luck to own these legends.

I think I need help, professionally and physically. 9 waiting for spares, 1 on the ramp and 2 in storage awaiting parts and engineering. Damn this is going to be a real full time job.

My personal rant against silicon gasket maker. I have repaired so many bike motors in my years of work due to the incorrect use of silicon based gasket makers. If they are applied correctly then they are ok. If not, you will be paying terrible school fees soon.
