Why I wax bicycle chains.

3 primary reasons:
1. Cleanliness
2. Efficiancy
3. Reduced running cost

As the wax dries to a complete solid, waxed chains resist contamination exceptionally well, keeping your chain + drivetrain running spotlessly clean for longer than with any other type of lubricant.

If you like a clean bike, then shift to waxed chains.

Fewer watts are lost to drivetrain friction, why professionals often use waxed chains for time trials + important races. You shouldn’t need to replace drivetrain parts as often.

Shoutout to the next generation of shredders! 🚴‍♀️
This past weekend at the ABSA Karkloof Youth Festival absolutely blew us away. The kids brought next-level energy, passion, and grit — take us back to that age! 🔥

We hosted a slashed tyre challenge where pairs raced to fix a flat — and wow, they gave it their all 💪

Massive thanks to the riders, parents, Karkloof Country Club, and ABSA for creating such an epic event.
The future of mountain biking is looking fast and fearless. 🌲🚵‍♂️ They’re coming for us…
