2024 marks 64 years since this Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider was built. It was delivered new to a gentleman in Milan, before being transported to South Africa relatively early in its life.
Thereafter the car remained in the ownership of a single family for over 40 years, until a few years ago when it joined the collection.
A dry climate and loving custodianship has preserved so much of this car’s originality, the underside is almost as attractive as the top, with nothing hidden by under seal, it really is a testament to its owners over its long life so far.
Following being transported back to Europe, the car has been registered in the UK and sent to where the car was comprehensively recommissioned by Attilio Romano, with his incredible skill and knowledge using parts sourced from around Europe.
This Touring Superleggera bodied Milanese beauty has been well enjoyed, displayed at shows, participated in rallies, and even served as a family wedding car during 2023. It will now be offered for sale through this month. It will be missed, they always are, but we hope to see it being enjoyed by a new enthusiastic owner on a sunny day soon ☀️
