Motus Select, previously known as Imperial Select, has a reputation for offering good quality used vehicles to the South African market and aims to continue doing so under this new brand, alongside a new website.
The name Motus might be new but it comes with heritage. Previously known as Imperial, the group has been around since 1948 and is a trusted automotive retail brand in South Africa as well as abroad. Motus Holdings was listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in November 2018 following its unbundling from Imperial Holdings Limited.
The rebranding of Imperial to Motus ties together all the company’s business interests to create South Africa’s largest automotive retail group with a countrywide dealer footprint. In conjunction with this rebranding, Imperial Select is now known as Motus Select.
Dealerships that customers have come to know and trust have been treated to new branding in line with the name change that ensures a more modern, appealing and up-market shopping experience.
There are currently more than 20 dealerships in the Motus Select network, a number that will grow in the future. Increasing the footprint through the growth of brick and mortar dealerships is a key focus area for Motus Select. These dealerships provide access to more than 1 500 pre-owned vehicles, making it easy for buyers to find the right make and model to meet their requirements. All vehicles are owned by Motus ensuring that customers can shop with peace of mind knowing that they are buying a good quality vehicle backed by one of SAs largest dealer groups.
We conduct business as per the rules and regulations of the Motor Industry Ombudsman and are also registered with the Motor Industry Ombudsman Transaction Protected Project.
