Supporting excellence goes beyond the finish line.

NMI was proud to provide 10 vehicles in support of the Nedbank Running Club, ensuring athletes, coaches, and support teams had reliable transport throughout the week of activities surrounding the Two Oceans and Comrades Marathon events.

Our vehicles also played a vital role on race day, serving as support vehicles to help keep the eventual Comrades Marathon champion, George Kusche, fuelled and focused by transporting his nutrition and race essentials throughout the course.
Congratulations to George Kusche on an incredible victory, and to the entire Nedbank Running Club team for another remarkable campaign. We are honoured to have played a small part in helping South Africa's elite athletes perform at their very best.

The appointment of NMI's Chief Operating Officer, Alex Frielingsdorf, during the latter part of 2025 marked a pivotal moment in our journey to becoming ONE NMI. It was a deliberate and strategic decision to strengthen the connection between our long-term vision and the operational ex*****on required to deliver it.

During the ONE NMI Conference, our COO translated strategy and financial ambition into operational truth, confronting the realities of complexity, inconsistency and ex*****on drift across the system.
The message was direct and intentional: winning in this next phase will not happen by chance. It will be driven by standards, accountability and a disciplined approach to daily operations.
