Today we had an Isuzu KB250 Fleet side that was overheating and had an extremely dirty radiator reservoir bottle

Removed and tested the thermostat and it was not opening at all. Did a complete coolant system flush,cleaned the reservoir bottle. Replaced the thermostat and filled the cooling system with the correct antifreeze and dilution ratio.

Tested vehicle and no more over heating.

Vehicle came in for a brake noise. We found that the left front brake pads went metal on metal. (Forgot to take pictures of the brakes)

When taking the vehicle for a test drive we noticed the clutch was slipping. Notified the customer and he gave us go ahead to strip and quote. We found the clutch plate was worn and quoted the customer on replacing the clutch kit.

Go ahead was given and now the customer has his vehicle back and is driving around the whole of East London

Vw golf 7 2.0 TDI Bluemotion towed in for not starting

After some fault finding we found the problem
Starter motor was shot. Removed the starter motor and had to order a new one as well as a brand new battery

Fitted the new starter motor and battery this evening and the vehicle is back on the road.

This past weekend we were extremely busy

We had the following to do on these vehicles

Toyota Hilux 2.5 d4d 4x4 - clutch,radiator expansion bottle and fan belt tensioser bearings
Opel Astra - water pump,thermo housing and over flow pipe
Toyota Etios - major service and general check over
Ford Fiesta - Water leak
Haval H1 - clutch,front brake pads and disc's,rear brake pads,tie rod ends and wiper blades

All vehicles completed and handed back to the customers
