Honestly, I really feel that we’re using technology for the right reasons — to help make the automotive sector in South Africa a better place.
A recent example is this 2026 VW Transporter 2.0 TDI 125 kW.
The client had come from a previous T6.1 Caravelle 146 kW, which he really enjoyed. Naturally, the new 125 kW Transporter felt massively underpowered in comparison. So our first objective was simple: bring the vehicle’s performance back in line with the previous vehicle he was accustomed to and enjoyed. - 148KW dialled in.
But there was more to this vehicle than just performance.
The client was also not made aware that the new Transporter was equipped with the AdBlue/SCR system. For those unfamiliar with it, AdBlue forms part of the vehicle’s emissions-control system and relies on a number of components, sensors and control modules to manage dosing and monitor the system. When faults occur or the AdBlue supply is depleted, the vehicle can ultimately enter a reduced-performance strategy and, depending on the fault, potentially leave the owner with a vehicle that cannot operate normally.
We therefore addressed the SCR/AdBlue system at a software level across the relevant control modules, removing the vehicle's normal dependence on AdBlue dosing and associated system monitoring. Now the Adblue just displays 100% Forever and never uses any!
And this is exactly where our philosophy comes in.
