These two Scania G460 trucks operate on cross-border routes and required specialised engine software programming to meet the client's operational requirements!

Due to the demands of transporting abnormal heavy loads, the client requested additional engine performance. We increased the engine output from 460 HP to 510 HP, providing an additional 50 HP to improve pulling power and overall drivability. The enhanced performance is also expected to contribute to improved fuel efficiency under load.

We also adjusted the vehicle speed limiter from 80 km/h to 89 km/h. This will assist in maintaining momentum on long inclines throughout African routes, while reducing overall travel time on the approximately 5,000 km round trip. Based on our understanding of safe operating parameters for heavy vehicles, a maximum speed of 89 km/h remains within responsible and road-safe limits when operated correctly.

This past week, we had the opportunity to work on five ISUZU trucks that required engine software optimization. Each vehicle received a custom ECU remap tailored to the client's needs, with a focus on improving fuel efficiency and making minor speed limiter adjustments to support more efficient turnaround times :)

We provide professional AdBlue, SCR, and emissions system software solutions for agricultural combines operating in demanding farming environments.
