⚠️ **WISE ALERT – OUR DOCUMENTED EXPERIENCE**
We are sharing this publicly because what has happened to us with Wise has had a serious impact on our business operations and access to our own funds.
This post is based on our direct experience, supported by records we have retained, including emails, account notices, transaction confirmations, verification documents and screenshots.
Over the course of this matter, our Wise personal and business accounts were restricted and/or closed while substantial funds remained involved.
We cooperated with requests for information and supplied supporting documentation. Despite this, the situation escalated to the point where access to funds and normal account functionality became severely disrupted.
What makes the situation particularly concerning to us is that, after correspondence and escalation, funds from one affected account were subsequently processed and released while other parts of the matter remained unresolved.
That inconsistency has left us with serious questions regarding how the restrictions, reviews and closures were handled.
The impact has not been theoretical.
It has affected real business operations, payments, commitments, projects and people relying on those funds.
For a business using a financial platform to move and manage significant amounts of money, sudden restrictions or closure without a clear and timely resolution can create enormous operational damage.
Based on our experience, **we do not currently recommend Wise for businesses that depend on uninterrupted access to substantial operating funds.**
To be clear, we are not alleging theft, fraud or criminal conduct.
We are documenting what happened to us, the consequences it caused, and our opinion based on those events.
We have retained the evidence supporting our account and are escalating the matter through the appropriate formal channels.
We also believe consumers and businesses have a right to understand the risks they may face when relying heavily on any financial platform.
Our advice to other businesses is simple:
Keep copies of all account records, correspondence and transaction confirmations.
Do not keep your entire operational liquidity with a single provider.
Have alternative banking/payment channels available.
And if your account is restricted, document every step from the first notification.
We will continue to update this matter as it develops and will correct any factual information if reliable evidence shows that something we have stated is inaccurate.
**Based on our documented experience: keep records, protect your business, and understand the risk of relying on one financial platform.**
