For Sale: 1971 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce

The first series Alfa Romeo spiders were launched at the 36th Geneva Motor Show in 1966 and came with the round tail design and a 1576cc twin-cam engine. The 2nd generation was produced from 1970 to 1982 with the round tail redesigned by Pininfarina to the distinctive “Kamm” tail which improved luggage space. Other styling changes include improved interior trim, revised grille, newer door handles and a windscreen with increased rake angle

For Sale: 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo Cup

The Porsche 944 Turbo Cup car was the lightweight factory-built race car created for the International one make racing series in the 1980’s. Porsche launched the championship in 1986 to give drivers a cost-effective way to compete using identical equipment. The series ran in West Germany, France, Canada, the United States, and South Africa. The race cars featured weight savings with magnesium oil sump and intake manifolds, produced more power by using different Turbos with revised ECU mapping, had a reinforced chassis and adjustable Bilstein coil-over dampers, stiffer springs, thicker anti-roll bars

Porsche produced fewer than 200 944 Turbo Cup cars globally during their production run. Only a small fraction of those were built for the 1987 season across series in Germany, France, South Africa, and North America. In 1987, LSM Distributors imported 19 of these 944 Turbo Cup race cars to South Africa with Toby Venter winning the championship in 1988 and Sarel van der Merwe in 1989

This Porsche 944 Turbo Cup is 1 of the original 19 cars imported by LSM Distributors in 1987 for the National Panasonic Porsche 944 Turbo Cup Championship.

It has since been road registered with a “Used” status RC1, a 1987 model year and has covered only 50 700km.

The 991.2 GT3 is the 11th version of the GT3 and the only naturally aspirated 911 that Porsche build. The 991.2 saw the engine size increase from 3.6l to 4.0l plus the manual gearbox was now available which saves 17kg and provides engaging driving experience.

Due to the success of the Porsche 911 R, the Porsche 991 GT3 Touring, a GT3 with no wing and manual gearbox, was introduced. The name ‘Touring” originally derived from the 1973 2.7 Carrera RS, meaning it was essentially the RS fitted with creature comforts for the open road.

Only 600 examples of the Porsche 991.2 GT3 Touring were made with 140 examples in right hand drive making this one of the most desired and collectible Porsche models.

The Porsche 968 was produced from 1991 to 1995 and was hand-assembled on the same line at Zuffenhausen as the 911 (964 generation), It is the ultimate evolution of Porsche’s transaxle cars. This transaxle layout gave the Porsche 968 a near 50/50 weight distribution which made it one of the best-handling sports cars of the 1990s.
