Karting may happen on the track, but the day is carried by the people around the driver too.

From early starts and dirty gear to quiet encouragement and the drive-home debrief, karting parents are part of the rhythm of the sport.

Every karting family knows the drive home has its own kind of soundtrack - what worked, what didn’t, where the move was on, what could have been done differently, and the moment everyone keeps replaying.

Sometimes it’s analysis.
Sometimes it’s encouragement.

Trackside Terms: Parc Fermé 🏁

Parc Fermé is the controlled area where karts can be checked after a race or session.

Once a kart is in Parc Fermé, the rule is simple: no touching, no changing, just checks.

This helps officials make sure everything is fair, compliant and in line with the regulations. It protects the result, the drivers and the integrity of the racing.

It may look like a small part of race day, but it matters.

In karting, the details count - on track and off it.
