Nkomazi Game Lodge is something else. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of wild camping—surrounded by towering mountains and the calming flow of the river. It’s the kind of peace that stays with you long after you leave. Truly blessed to be here.

There is something sacred about the early morning ritual: grinding fresh coffee beans, the hum of the Jetboil, and that first steaming cup while the world wakes up. Sitting here between the mountains and the river, it’s a true privilege to start the day in such beauty.

Jakkelsroep, Dinokeng — 3°C winter camping but honestly, why not? Because camping is ALWAYS worth it. Crisp nights, wildlife all around, scenic drives & day trips, Rusty Rhino’s truly delicious food. Good friends, warm fires & great laughs — unforgettable.

Quick pitstop at Tshokwane Picnic Site on the way to Lower Sabie — grabbed a homemade pie and a cappuccino, and now we’re ready for the road again.
