When the wind picks up, you improvise! We pulled up at Bosobogolo Pan and used the vehicles to block the wind for a legendary bush brunch. Bacon, eggs, and halloumi—doesn't get much better than that! No animals today, but the spectacular scenery made it well worth the stop.

Windy morning, but a perfect breakfast setup at Mpaya Pan! The wildlife might be playing hide-and-seek, but the morning drive and exploring this incredible area made it a morning to remember.

Mabuasehube Campsite 1: The view is absolutely unmatched, but a word of advice for future bookings—this site doesn't have an A-frame or private facilities. Sites 2, 3, and 4 are the ones to aim for if you want that extra shade and shelter. Still, beautiful serenity! While the wildlife stayed away from our camp this time, the barking geckos, the stunning sunrises & sunsets made it special regardless.

Setting off for Mabuasehube via the Cutline!
There is something so satisfying about the sound of deflating tires—it’s the official signal that the real adventure has begun. Gravel roads ahead and nothing but wilderness in our sights.

Packed, prepped, and ready. Last night in Sekoma before we hit the road for Mabuasehube tomorrow. Can’t wait to see what the next few days have in store. Let the adventure begin!

Stopped in Sekoma—a blink-and-you-miss-it kind of town, but that’s the beauty of overlanding. We found the best little takeaway cafe serving up magwinya with mince and breakfast wraps that hit the spot perfectly. After refueling, we headed to Sekoma Pan to enjoy our lunch with a view. Sometimes the smallest stops make the best memories.
