SENIOR DRAUGHTSMAN
Location: Gauteng
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Draughtsman to join our team within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drawing experience, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to work independently while supporting the wider team.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Draughtsman
Strong experience in the manufacturing industry
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
Advanced proficiency in Inventor
Strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes
Ability to interpret technical specifications and convert concepts into accurate drawings
Must reside in Gauteng
Must have own reliable transportation
Reliable, punctual, and detail-focused
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Must be willing to learn and adapt to new processes and requirements
Key Responsibilities
Create and modify detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor
Develop drawings and designs according to manufacturing requirements
Ensure drawings are accurate and meet required specifications
Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments
Review and amend drawings where required
Assist with design improvements and technical problem-solving
Maintain accurate drawing records and documentation
Ensure all work is completed accurately and within deadlines
