CPA YEAR ens function 2025
What a day. Our 2025 year-end function has truly been a great success, and it’s because of all of you. Today isn’t just a celebration of another year, it’s a celebration of people. Of commitment. Of loyalty. Of the heart each of you brings to City Paint and Abrasives every single day.
We celebrated service milestones of 5, 10, 15, and 20 years, and those awards tell the story of a strong team built on dedication and consistency. We also had the Employees’ and Employer’s Choice Awards, always a highlight, because it shows how much we value one another.
The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was warm, and the décor, arranged by our own staff, was exceptional. Thank you to every person who contributed. You didn’t just organise an event; you created a moment we’ll remember.
City Paint and Abrasives is not just a business.
It’s not stock, paint, invoices, cars or trucks.
It’s people.
It’s you.
And I want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for the energy you bring every day.
Thank you for your loyalty and your pride in your work.
Thank you for your consistency, your commitment, and for always giving your best.
You are the reason City Paint and Abrasives is the success it is today.
To my family, my son Matthew , my daughter Kayla, my sister Karin, and my brother AndrĂŞ, thank you for standing by my side all these years.
My sister and daughter, the accountants, have kept this company steady and grounded.
My son and brother, managing the branches, have carried the vision, culture, and standard that defines who we are.
I’ve done my best to lay a strong foundation, and I trust that you will all carry this company forward with the same passion, loyalty, and heart—into the next generation.
And then… there was one moment tonight that truly touched me.
The award I received—the Founder’s Award, for my 23 years of contribution.
I want to say thank you for that honour. It meant more than you know. To stand here and see what this company has become, and to be recognised by the very people who helped build it with me… it’s something I will always cherish. Thank you.
So to everyone at City Paint and Abrasives:
Thank you for what you do for this company, and even more importantly, thank you for the kindness, respect, and family spirit you show to each other. That is what makes this company truly special.
Here’s to 2026. may it be a year of unity, success, and growth.
Thank you.
Sherwin-Williams
