🏁 Hooligan Group 5 Tour: Leg 1 – Platinum Full Throttle Recap! 🏁
What a way to start the season! The first leg of the Hooligan Group 5 Tour was absolute fire. The competition was tight, and the atmosphere at Schuppen Ring was electric.
A massive shoutout to everyone who came out to race, marshall, and support, with a blistering 30 entries for a new track it's amazing to see. Here is how the podiums shook out:
🏆 The Overall Heavy Hitters
Brenden James (174.733 Laps)
Pieter Prinsloo Snr (172.804 Laps)
Wimpie Greyling (171.263 Laps)
🏎️ Class Podiums
Scholars (Juniors): Andries Pelser took the top spot with 153.301 laps and a overall 12th place finish , followed closely by Eben Blignaut and Abi Bekker, The future of the hobby is looking fast!
Seniors: Brenden James , followed by Wimpie Greyling , and Dimitry de Bruyn
Masters: Pieter Prinsloo Snr, Dolfie James and Johan Mostert rounding out a very competitive top three.
Veterans: Johan Van Wijk showed us how it’s done with 155.443 laps, follwed by Wickus Kruger and Pally Wade
Ladies: Abi Bekker took the win with a brilliant 145.454 laps, followed by Charissa Saunders and Beverly de Wit.
