I recently got a call from one of my trusted dealers. He was about to close a deal on a car, but as usual, we had to inspect the airbags first. During the check, we discovered the airbags had been poorly repaired. The previous repair didn’t use the original airbags, and the airbag control module hadn’t been reprogrammed.
Even though my client had his client ready to buy the car as it was, we value safety above all else. So, we replaced the airbag igniters with the correct parts and properly reprogrammed the airbag module. After putting everything back together, we did a final check to make sure everything was working perfectly.
Interestingly, the client hadn’t noticed any issues while driving, but the car had been “covered up” by unprofessional repairs. We believe in doing things right because lives depend on it.
