Join Our Growing Panel Shop Team!
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Estimator to join our busy, professional panel shop on the East Rand.
If you have experience in vehicle damage assessments, repair quotations and insurance claims, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the required repairs.
Prepare accurate estimates for labour, parts and materials.
Liaise with insurance companies and assessors to obtain repair approvals.
Communicate with customers regarding repair costs and turnaround times.
Work closely with workshop staff to ensure repairs are completed in line with approved estimates.
Follow up on outstanding approvals and additional repair costs.
Requirements
Proven experience as an automotive or panel repair estimator.
Experience handling motor vehicle insurance claims.
Knowledge of Audatex or similar estimating systems will be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and communication abilities.
A valid driver’s licence.
Must provide contactable references.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy panel shop environment.
