These GD-6 single cabs have gone from bare, protected tubs to fully fitted with our Ta**us Field Service canopies and mine-spec accessories — built specifically for the site work this fleet is heading into.🚧

Every fleet build starts somewhere — and for this batch of GD-6 single cabs, it started here.

Before our Field Service canopies go on. Before the mine-spec accessories get fitted. Before any of these trucks see a mine site. First, every tub gets rubberised — protected properly, so it can actually take the abuse a mine site throws at it.

This is the unglamorous part nobody posts, but it's the part that decides whether the rest of the build holds up long-term.

Progress photos coming soon as we move through canopy fitment and the mine-spec accessories — you'll see this fleet go from bare tubs to mine-site ready, step by step.

3 THINGS FLEET CLIENTS GET WRONG about canopies for mine site👇

One thing I've learnt in this industry is that getting a vehicle site-ready isn't as simple as ticking boxes in a catalogue.

Almost every week I hear:
❌ "Just give me the cheapest option."
❌ "All mine-compliant accessories are the same are they not?"
❌ "One setup should work for the whole fleet."

The reality? Every site, every contractor work, and contractor is different.

Behind the scenes, most of my conversations aren't about just selling products. They're about asking the right questions:
👉 On which site will the vehicle be operating on?
👉 What tools and equipment will be carried with on site?
👉 What are the site's compliant requirements?
👉 How can I make the vehicle compliant, more practical, as well as more cost-effective for my client?

A vehicle that's properly specified from the start means less downtime, better productivity, and few headaches once it arrives on site.🛻🚧
