HALO is equipped to prevent catastrophic and fatal injuries to the occupants that might occur without it.

The external roll hoop maintains the vehicle’s roll radius characteristic, allowing the vehicle body to roll more smoothly, minimising forces on the occupants. It also distributes the roof loads across the entire roof structure and underlying pillars to avoid a single-point collapse. The reinforcement minimises roof intrusion at the top of the structural pillars, which keeps the roof up and away from the occupants.
