Precision, built in-house.

Pictured here are Johan de Swardt, Composite Technician, and Alexander Bromley, Yacht Designer, at Phoenix Marine Manufacturing, with the carbon furling boom in production for the Xquisite 60 Solar Sail.

Manufactured in-house, the boom is laid up in a precision DTM mould machined at Omegaverse and the carbon sections are carefully bonded together. It is a highly specialised process that brings together advanced composite engineering, design accuracy and hands-on craftsmanship.

This is the kind of innovation that sits behind every Phoenix-built yacht - the details you may not always see, but absolutely feel in the performance, quality and confidence of the final vessel.

A moment of recognition for the team in The Hub.

At Phoenix Marine Manufacturing, The Hub is our dedicated sub-assembly facility - the space where precision carpentry, cabinetry, Corian work, all upholstery and interior components come together before being fitted onboard.

It is a vital part of how we build. By producing and refining components in a focused environment, our teams can work with accuracy, consistency and care - ensuring that every piece fits exactly as it should when it reaches the vessel.

The Hub also reflects a growing area of capability within Phoenix Marine, with the skills, equipment and expertise to support high-quality marine and specialist manufacturing work beyond our own production lines, including our QC testing facility for all incoming OEM components and parts prior to being transferred onto the vessel that is being built.
