Our aim at Legends Racing South Africa, is to make the Legends Racing formula, one of South Africa's most exciting and affordable ways to go racing. Legends Racing is one of the fastest growing motorsport series in the world, with series running in the USA, Canada, UK, Morocco, Scotland, Ireland, Finland, Russia, Denmark, France, Benelux and Holland. With impressive grid sizes across the globe, these immaculately prepared and turned out cars, are competing at high speed on all the well known race circuits across the USA and EUROPE. Due to the size and scale of the cars, Legends Racing allows thrilling 4 car wide out-braking, lots of overtaking, and slipstreaming manoeuvres that have become synonymous with the appeal of the formula and represents a new era of excitement and high speed fun in the motorsport arena. The philosophy of the formula is to ensure that it is managed for the maximum benefit and enjoyment of all competitors and spectators. It has been hugely successful in that it affords a level of camaraderie from rookie drivers through to those with major experience under their belt which is not possible in most other racing formulas. Whether you are male or female, a first timer in motorsport, a family person looking for some track action, a young gun on his/her way to the top in racing your involvement will be most welcome and you are guaranteed to have a fantastically competitive and enjoyable motorsport experience!

Although he was pushed hard in the early stages, Devin Robertson claimed another light-to-flag win in the second heat at Zwartkops Raceway today.

Sebastian Venkov tried everything he could to pass Robertson but settled for second, comfortably ahead of Rico Raker, who had to fight his way through from the back of the grid after not finishing the first heat.

Santiago Frade claimed another Young Lions win, while Neels Jooste made it two from two in the Masters class.

Devin Robertson won the opening INEX Legends heat today with a comfortable win, but it wasn't easy behind him. An early three-way battle for second became a four-way fight when Gavin Botha joined Sebastian Venkov, Dylan Fourie, and Tyler Posthumus. Eventually, Venkov pulled away slightly and cruised to second, but the battle for third went to the final lap, where Posthumus held off Fourie and Botha.

Venkov was later penalised for an early race incident with Rico Raker, which dropped him down the field and promoted Posthumus and Fourie into second and third, respectively.

Young Lion, Santiago Frade, worked his way through from the back of the grid to claim fifth place ahead of Masters class winner Neels Jooste.

𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐗 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐙𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐤𝐨𝐩𝐬

After a long winter break, the INEX Legends series returns to Zwartkops Raceway for the fourth round of their 2026 championship on 25 and 26 September. In the last round of the championship held at Red Star Raceway back in April, Tyler Posthumus took over the championship lead. However, he won't have things all his own way this time around, as several competitors have returned to the series to challenge him.

Devin Robertson, who won every heat in the opening two rounds, returns to the fray after missing the Red Star event. Sebastian Venkov, Rico Raker, and Dylan Fourie will all look to close the gap to Posthumus, as will former champion Gavin Botha, who returns after missing the last two rounds. Series newcomer JP Taljaard will also try to make an impression, as will returning former front-runner Jayden Goosen.

Santiago Frade is the only Young Lion in the field this weekend, but he has shown that he can hold his own with the mid-pack and could even challenge for a podium position if everything goes his way.

Dries Posthumus is joining Neels and Johann Jooste in the Masters class to add a bit of spice to the battle of the brothers.

In a change from the normal race schedule, there was a qualifying session today, with two races tomorrow. Robertson was the quickest in that qualifying session, setting a time nearly a second quicker than Venkov. Raker and Posthumus will line up on the second row tomorrow, ahead of Fourie and Botha. Young Lion Frade got the better of Goosen to take seventh, while Neels Jooste took the Masters honours from Dries Posthumus and Johann Jooste. Taljaard will round out the twelve-car grid for tomorrow's first race, which kicks off at 7:15.
