This was a fun, but challenging project.

Create a 10m x 4m mosaic for in the paddock, showcasing the history of the team. 9000 photos (accidentally put 8k in my story-oops) and about 10 different variants before we had a version which worked.

Also updated last year’s grid shots to this year’s liveries and numbers.

I had the cool opportunity to create this retro for for Retro weekend.

Taking inspirstion from the 70s 3.0 CSL, we were able to create a modern interpretation of the classic BMW M livery complete with the original colors, including the purple stripe.

Other details include chrome edge to the kidney grille, 70s BMW M rounded on the c-pillar, black air intakes and the large driver names on the door.

Super fortunate to have a few liveries racing at IMSA WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and at the support this weekend.

Thanks to all those who allow me to colour in cars as my career! It is massively appreciated.

In addition, there are official Spotter Guides for every race at Seca this weekend and the Porsche Carrera Cup races running as support at the Miami GP.

As someone who still has red in their blood (worked there in Marlboro/West era), it’s cool to have just over 25% of the .customerracing Trophy (+ two others have evolved from my designs.
